I have been blessed to have Robbie assist at several of my retreats. Robbie has a kind and welcoming presence, holds a clear and loving space, has a gorgeous singing voice, and is a masterful bodyworker. I have found him to be sincere and trustworthy. I imagine that anyone receiving healing support from Robbie will receive deep benefit.

FAQ’S

I offer a comprehensive approach to personal renewal by blending body-centered modalities, conventional health coaching methods, and a focus on the sacred. This holistic approach recognizes the internal relationship between our mental, physical, and emotional selves and with the natural world.
As a species, we become more aware of our body’s and mind's responses to triggers, we gain the power to navigate life with greater self-understanding. By recognizing and understanding these reactions, we can break free from impulsive survival patterns and make empowering choices that align with your values.
Over time we strengthen the skill of being fully present in each moment, fostering emotional resilience, and gaining balance by integrating somatic, mindfulness, and compassion-based approaches to challenges.
Our sessions provide a space for curious and lighthearted exploration of the complexities of the mind and our human experience.
-
In short, the seeker and the student.
My practice weaves together threads of human growth into a synergistic framework of transformation. I draw on my modalities of healing, high-performance methodologies, and sacred traditions to help you realize your highest potential.
I invite your attentiveness to meet these stated goals, and to be available to make longer-term commitments to them, as you are called to.
-
I believe in the power of our natural human instinct. Choose whatever modality feels best to you. Through the combination of our intake call and your thoughtful replies on the intake form, we will create a care plan that is a living document adjusting to your needs.
-
The healing arts are restorative which carries its own benefit. I am a specialist in using the modalities in my practice to heal the spirit. This is my calling. Through the combination of our introductory call and your thoughtful replies to the intake form, we will asses our compatibility. Please know that questions and skepticism are always welcome.
-
Guided personal renewal via any modality can be a life-changing and meaningful journey. It not only requires courage and an open mind—it also requires an investment of time, energy, and finances.
This is also true of your provider, as my preparation includes decades of training, a resolve to be a pure container for your present needs, and my custody of your health - treating it as seriously as my own.
Many people find this meeting of our mutual investments to provide a quantum value, and to be very worthwhile.

I understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, provide at least 48 hours' notice, or you will be charged for your session out of respect for the space I’ve held for you in my practice.
While session fee refunds are possible, my practice preference is to award a credit to use within six months.
-
I am not contracted with any private or public insurer. On a limited basis I may provide a payment receipt for bodywork or therapeutic services that you can submit to your insurer or HSA / FSA accounts for potential reimbursement.
Also, keep in mind that your insurance company maintains a certain degree of access to your treatment records. It does this to help them determine whether treatment is medically necessary and something they will authorize. Therefore, I prefer to preserve as much confidentiality as possible.
-
A gratuity is never expected. If you were pleased with the session, a 20% tip is a “healing arts” standard. I encourage clients to consider the Radiant Heart Subscription as the most rewarding opportunity to compliment my practice.
-
Each month I offer a Community Day where services are discounted according to a prior one-to-one agreement we make. I am unable to provide further accommodations, and I will always refer you to another healer.
-
The duration of my practice is a testament to the transparency and connections that both I and my clients honor. It is a custom fit, and not a transactional relationship.
On our call (aka consultation), I’ll ask brief questions like what's bringing you to seek healing at this time, and your past experience with the modalities I offer.
Then feel free to ask about how sessions with me work, logistics, and about my training. It can be helpful to jot down a shortlist of your main thoughts and questions before we talk.
I believe you’ll find our call to be informative, a time-saver in the long run, it smooths your way to complete your intake form, and sets-up our first appointment for success.
In advance please read website pages on my practice, bio and CV, and these FAQ’s.
-
You will have filled out your intake form - the link is in the scheduler as well as at the bottom of each modality description page. In-person we will assess and create your treatment plan, which we can update with new needs.
Our appointment begins a relationship between us, and between you and your healing. These relationships are dynamic, employ all our senses and language, and build as our work progresses toward your state of saatva: balance and becoming whole.
I may cite anonymous clients who have enjoyed a similar success in their work with me. Conversely, I will be direct if I don't believe I am an ideal healer for your concerns.
-
My modalities of Health Coaching and Integration Therapy, and supplemental offerings: Music Circles and Vocal Empowerment, Embodied Movement, Expressive Creativity, Meditation Walks and WIlderness Altars, can be provided online.
We use Zoom for in-place sessions, and FaceTime for sessions where I accompany you walking or in-motion. Fees for virtual sessions are the same
I request that you provide a quiet location, adequate lighting, and a tech check to confirm your systems are ready. I have limited flexibility to change formats of our sessions, so please book the type of session you anticipate being able to keep.
-
Yes. Please discuss your current medications and diagnosis with me.
I am additionally trained in working with oncology patients and late-life/end-of-life patients.
-
Yes, with a few exceptions. The only reason I would break confidentiality is for your safety. We will discuss this in our first session. My studio values your privacy and is informally HIPAA Compliant (as I am not a medical provider).
-
My practice invites the myriad of ways that bodies are non-conforming: weight, culture, subculture, gender or sexual identity, age, color, ability, and more. Many people have been kept out of healing practices due to barriers and prejudice of all types - these barriers do not exist in my studio. All are welcome here.
-
+ Routine conversation is welcome, and deeper communication is factored into the length of a session. Kindly respect the time and energy I allot to our work, and that I may not have more of either to share before we begin or after we conclude.
+ All work I perform is strictly professional. At no time is sexual contact or innuendo tolerated in or outside of my studio. I retain the right to refuse services or end the session at any time without a refund due to client behavior.
+ I welcome warm referrals, and ask that they are first directed to my website which provides a practice-overview, which allows potential clients to make an educated guess about their alignment with my studio.
-
You are willing to experiment with new ideas and behaviors inside (and outside) sessions; and open to the modalities I work with.
You take the tools and learnings from our sessions and try them out during the rest of your week. Healing is a lot like working out with a personal trainer at a gym. In that sense, to really reap the benefits of our work, it’s important to practice it in the real world consistently. Then we can check in when you come to session, celebrate any victories and tend to any disappointments, and talk about the arc of your care.
You use our sessions as a “laboratory” of sorts to experiment with new behaviors, as well as how you show up in your relationships. The dynamic between a healer and client is different in that it’s both professional as well as uniquely intimate. My studio is a space where you can show up as your authentic self (or even explore who that is if you’re not sure) without judgment. You can use the “lab” of the healing work to experiment with saying what’s challenging, vulnerable, or real for you in the moment.
-
Due to its more complex and thorough nature, transformative healing is generally a longer process. As a depth-oriented healer focused on ethical practice and client empowerment, our work always has a “North Star”—that is, a general aim, goal(s), or direction. It can require time for a client to have a sense of safety that enables the healing work to go to a deeper level.
This work is best done through ongoing sessions, with three months as a standard. When sessions drop off they become more about “catching up,” which can make it more difficult to uncover lasting results. I find clients see more benefit from our work when they have a standing commitment to themselves and their healing.
-
I am happy to recommend books, articles, podcasts, etc., for self-study outside our sessions, as well as encourage you to integrate the session learnings in your life.
I avoid the term “homework” because it implies that I am in a position of authority or power over you. I empower you to be the expert on your life and the author of your experience. I find ways to support accountability and development other than assuming the role of the teacher assigning homework.
Please visit my Resources page for a curated, growing list of recommended content.
-
Retreat participants are fresh clients, receiving guided-healing in their community or environment. Some are new to my practice but I am not new to my care protocol - which is extremely present-focused, Source-driven and rooted in abundance. My ability to privately serve individual clients is undiminished as my studio itself expands. I invite you to be enthusiastic about my growing opportunities as I bring new features and teachings into our work.
-
For bodywork you only need to take off only as much clothing as you’re comfortable removing. I give you privacy while you undress. During the massage, I use a sheet or towel to drape the parts of your body that are not being massaged. Please always advise me of anything that you would like to be changed.
-
For Water Release Therapy, a water bottle, swimsuit and robe, and a change of clothes if you like for post-session conversation. I will provide all of the necessary equipment and additional towels if need be.
-
It is best not to eat for at least 90 minutes before your massage treatment and only a light meal at that time. The digestion process directs the blood flow away from your peripheral tissues and concentrates it on the digestive tract. Massage draws the blood flow to the area tissues being worked on, therefore drawing the blood away from the digestive tract causing poor digestion and possible discomfort.
-
It is best not to imbibe before your treatment. You may feel more "relaxed", but alcohol or other substances can dampen your body's ability to sense discomfort which can decrease your ability to alert me to an appropriate technique or level of pressure or awareness of your body in water. Alcohol can also dehydrate your tissues causing potential injury or increasing any soreness post-massage treatment. Thank you in advance for your discretion in this matter.
-
Massage does not need to be painful to be effective. Correcting a soft tissue problem (such as adhesions, tight attachments, and trigger points) can cause some discomfort, but it depends on each individual persons comfort level with pressure and how their body responds to pressure.
Open communication with your Massage Therapist is key to a massage that will be tailored to meet your needs! There are various forms of massage and techniques that can be utilized, many of which do not hurt at all and are quite soothing. If you have an injury or chronically tight or painful areas, please be sure that your therapist is aware of it before the start of the session.Fibromyalgia or chronic pain? Do not worry, a range of pressure and trigger point techniques will help relax your muscles and release endorphins in order to help you better manage pain. Medical injuries or deep muscle tension? Slow, steady massage helps to open the muscle tissue and allow deeper access to the problem areas or adhesions that affect your health. Access to these deeper muscles allows for improved range of motion and decreased pain. There is a massage technique that will benefit you regardless of your condition.
-
Falling asleep during a massage is not uncommon; Many people are often stressed or tired and feel relaxed that they fall asleep. More important is the fact that sleep sets your body into a natural state of relaxation in which your massage will be more beneficial physically. Sleep if you like, it will only help.
Before your massage begins, please let your therapist know if you are ticklish. Usually firm, slow pressure (and possibly avoiding certain spots) can keep you from feeling ticklish during a massage.
Although some people prefer to talk throughout the massage, please do not feel like you have to make conversation with your Massage Therapist unless you would like to. You are receiving healthcare and wellness treatment - many people close their eyes and try to relax. Your massage therapist should take the cue from you.
